The Brief

Several of the window surround have various degrees of cracking, spalling and bulging areas. Some of the windows also had rust staining and exposed corroded reinforcement. Several quite large lumps o the concrete had completely de-bonded and have started to fall off, causing a serious safety risk to church uses below.

The Solution

All the defective areas were broken out and all loose concrete were removed. All exposed reinforced steel was then cleaned and coated with Flexcrete Steel Reinforcement Protector 841 and Flexcrete Bonding Bridge 842. The treated areas were then repairs with a Flexcrete Mono mix Concrete Repair mortar and a final re profiling and levelling coat of Flexcrete Monolevel 844 SP applied.
