The Brief

During one of the Environment Agency’s regular inspections, a number of small bridges were found to have various defects ranging from simple re-pointing works to full concrete repairs. A total of 37 bridges between Exeter and Bristol were selected to have individual assessment and appropriate repairs carried out.

The Solution

Dawnus Construction were drafted in by the Environment Agency to carry out the assessments and to decide the necessary works on each of the 37 bridges.

South West Concrete Repairs Ltd were contracted to carry out the repair works which included; re-pointing, crack stitching, joint renewal, resin injection, concrete repairs, re-building of some of the missing stonework and various other works as deemed necessary.
