The Brief

Huller House and Cheese Building are Grade 2 Listed building which have been left unused for a number of years and fallen into dis-repair. They are now being redeveloped into 55 warehouse apartments, commercial office space with Quayside walkway situated over the floating Harbour and canal.

Each floor level had areas in need of repairs, Beams, Soffits and Columns inside the building and window lintels outside have severe cracking, spalling and corroded reinforcements.

The Solution

High Pressure Power washing to clean down areas and help identify defects was carried out. Survey and testing followed by full traditional concrete repairs were carried out to all defective areas in preparation for new internal and external finishes.
