Fire Protection Services

It is a requirement of the Building Regulations Section B FIRE SAFETY to inhibit the spread of fire within the building. Internal linings must resist the spread of fire over their surfaces and if ignited have a rate of heat release reasonable in the circumstances. so as well as using the appropriate linings and forming designed fire containment compartments, the use of fire barriers, cavity barriers, flame retardent coatings etc are often required. Joints or imperfections to fit or openings allowing services to pass through any internal compartment lining must also be adequately protected by sealing or fire stopping so that the fire resistance of the lining is not impaired.

South West Concrete Repairs Ltd are pleased to announce the addition of this new service to our range of specialist services to the construction industry.

Following the successful training of our operatives and through partnership with ROCKWOOL FIRE PRO (a joining of three of the most respected names in fire protection Rockwool, PFC Corofil and Lafarge Plasterboard), we can now offer a full range of Fire Protection Systems and Fire Stopping Techniques.
